TIMELINE: Florida severe weather threat includes possibility for torrential rain, lightning

ORLANDO, Fla. - Friday night will be a delightful evening, but as we head into Saturday, clouds increase, and rain chances will begin to rise after 4 a.m. as another front moves across Central Florida. 

Saturday is a FOX 35 IMPACT DAY to address the potential for heavy rain, lightning, and a few stronger storms.  The threat of severe weather has already impacted Walt Disney World's Marathon Weekend, which you can read about here.

Wake-up temperatures on Saturday morning will remain in the 60s as southerly breezes warm the local atmosphere. Rain chances will be widespread. 

 Storms will be around through early afternoon, especially across Brevard County, as the front moves through.

 Saturday night brings scattered clouds and rain chances of under 30%.

Sunday looks pretty good! Highs on Sunday are in the mid-upper 60s under a blend of sun and clouds. 

Rain chances return Monday as showers move in late in the day.
