Orlando weather: Feels-like temperatures will be in the 30s across Central Florida this week

The weather roller coaster continues. Much cooler for Tuesday with highs in the low 70s after highs in the 80s the last few days. A persistent flow in the upper atmosphere from the Gulf of Mexico will keep mid-higher level clouds in place, limiting overall sunshine. However, limited to no moisture near the ground means that rain & precipitation chances will remain near zero area-wide.

Tonight's low: 55 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 72 degrees

It will be breezy at all east coast beaches today. High temps will be near the 70-degree mark. There is a moderate rip current risk, so swim carefully today.

It will be a pleasant Tuesday at the theme parks with highs in the 70s, but bring a jacket or sweater to wear after the sun sets.

The coolest high temperatures of the week will be Wednesday, barely getting into the mid-60s in Orlando while maybe even staying in the upper 50s in the Ocala and Gainesville areas.

There will be breezy northerly winds on Wednesday up to 10-15 mph. Air temperatures tumble into the upper 30s and 40s on Thursday morning, and with a gentle breeze continuing, it will feel a bit colder even than the air temperatures indicate.

Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny. Clouds, temperatures, and humidity will increase again beginning on Friday with highs into the low 80s by Saturday.

We are watching a storm system and front for Saturday night into Sunday of the coming weekend. A very large storm system will likely form (starting late Friday) and track across the eastern U.S. Saturday into Sunday. Somewhere within this, one or several risks for severe storms could materialize – possibly even one higher-end risk for severe storms and tornadoes with large areas of rain and gusty winds as well.

On the "cold" side, some rain could change to snow, but that remains TBD. The track and strength of this low will dictate the locations of most impact. Details will become clearer in the coming days.
