Orlando weather: Unseasonably warm Wednesday afternoon ahead of cold front
Orlando Weather Forecast: Tuesday Night, February 18th, 2025
FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Noah Bergren is tracking some arctic air currently in the Midwest, heading for Florida later this week with some rain too.
ORLANDO, Fla. - It will be mostly cloudy on Tuesday night with showers developing late in the western part of the state.
Increasing rain chances, falling temperatures
What's next:
It will be mostly cloudy and unseasonably warm on Wednesday, with highs reaching the low 80s in Orlando. Rain is expected in the afternoon and evening, with brief heavy downpours possible.

However, it will be a short-lived warm-up, as a cold front moves in late afternoon or early evening, increasing rain and storm chances.

So far, the best chances of rain look to take place along and northwest of the I-4 corridor. The front pushes through after sunset, and that's when temperatures will begin to tumble.
A sharp drop in temperatures comes on Thursday, with highs in the mid-60s. Skies will be clear through the day, leading to mostly sunny conditions. Daytime highs will only reach the mid-to-upper-60s. Overnight lows into Friday will dip into the 30s and 40s, with wind chills in the 20s and 30s.

Friday will be mostly sunny with highs near 60.
Weekend weather
Big picture view:
The weekend's daytime highs will also only reach the mid-to-upper-60s. It will be sunny and dry on Saturday, with afternoon highs near 70.
The weekend is expected to bring another round of rain, specifically on Sunday.
On Sunday, there will be increasing clouds with a chance of rain or thunderstorms. Rainfall may be more concentrated in South Florida, but forecasts will become clearer in the coming days. So far, we're expecting around a 60-70% chance of rain.
Looking Ahead:
Conditions should be dry and pleasant, with temperatures gradually warming.
