Orlando weather: Scattered storms Tuesday night, Saharan dust to reduce rain Thursday

Central Florida faces a mix of showers, humidity, and a midweek shift in weather as Saharan dust moves into the region.

What will the weather look like tonight?

What to expect:

Showers and thundershowers will remain scattered across Central Florida through the evening under mostly cloudy skies. Overnight temperatures will fall into the low 70s.

What will the weather look like tomorrow?

Timeline:

Conditions will stay mostly cloudy and very humid. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day, with the potential for a few torrential downpours.

Afternoon highs will reach the low 80s, slightly below average for early June.

What will the weather look like for the rest of the week?

Looking ahead:

On Thursday, a large plume of Saharan dust will drift over the state, helping to suppress rain chances. Areas southeast of the I-4 corridor may stay mostly dry, while isolated thundershowers could develop north of I-4.

By Friday and into the weekend, Central Florida will return to a more typical early June pattern, with highs in the 90s and a few scattered afternoon storms developing along the sea breezes.
