Orlando weather: Humid Tuesday night, hot days ahead of holiday weekend
ORLANDO, Fla. - The heat wave continues across Central Florida but temperatures will cool down some at night with a slight chance of rain.

What To Expect:
Skies will remain mostly clear Tuesday night, though humidity levels will stay high. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the mid-70s. There is a chance of an early isolated downpour.
This will be followed by clearing skies and a touch of patchy fog with lows near 76°.

What's next:
Wednesday will bring continued heat across Central Florida, with afternoon highs in the low to mid-90s. Heat index values could climb as high as 103 degrees.
A passing thundershower is possible Thursday afternoon and evening, including a slight chance near Universal’s Epic Universe site.

We are expecting unrelenting heat through Memorial Day weekend.
By Thursday, clouds will begin moving in, particularly across the southern portions of the region.

A weak cold front will arrive and stall over the area, providing a focus for showers and storms during the afternoon — a few could be strong to severe. This may result in a few storms for the opening of Epic Universe during the afternoon. Temperatures will ease slightly, with highs in the upper 80s. If it comes together, we may see more than 1 inch of rain in some spots.

Looking ahead to the holiday weekend, Sunday brings a low chance of an afternoon shower.
The weak cold front dissipates, and the mid-90s temperatures remain with a few more afternoon storms popping up on Monday for Memorial Day. We may also be seeing subtle signs of the rainy season developing as we head toward the beginning of June.
