Police searching for young girl missing out of Kissimmee
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - UPDATE: Jeniyah Estrella has been found and is safe.
The Kissimmee Police Department says that they are looking for a young girl whose location is unknown following a domestic incident.
They said that on February 18th, David Estrella was involved in a domestic incident. Immediately following the incident, Estrella reportedly took his daughter, Jeniyah Estrella, with him. At the time, this was within his rights.
However, the legal custody of Jeniyah has now been transferred to the Department of Children and Families, police said. DCF or Jeniyah's mother have not been able to contact Estrella or Jeniyah though.
Police said that Jeniyah is believed to still be with Estrella and possibly his girlfriend, Taylor Philpot. She drives a 2016 gray Ford Focus, FL tag ECSW24.
