UCF unveils $90M Roth Tower transformation at Bounce House

As the University of Central Florida celebrates two decades of football on campus, the Knights are kicking off their new season with a major 90 million-dollar upgrade.

As the University of Central Florida celebrates two decades of football on campus, the Knights are kicking off their new season with a major 90 million-dollar upgrade.

UCF has officially unveiled the newly transformed Roth Tower at the Bounce House. The brand-new, four-level facility represents the culmination of a major construction effort that first began in December 2024.

Following 20 months of work and a $90 million investment, the expanded tower more than triples the stadium's available club space for both game-day and non-game-day operations.

More shade, premium amenities for fans

The renovation introduces upgraded club seating, luxury suites, and multiple full-service bars.

However, the project also delivers direct benefits to general ticket holders, providing significantly more shade for fans seated in the stadium basin.

With seven home games on the schedule this season, UCF Athletics aims to leverage the enhanced space to establish a sustainable, year-round revenue stream.

Generating year-round revenue

UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir noted that the evolving game of college athletics demands a modernized commercial strategy.

"In college athletics, the landscape has changed… generating new revenue is really important," Mohajir said. "Changing the commercial profile is also important. Letting the people of Orlando know this is a serious space you can use for wedding receptions, sales seminars, lecture series, birthday parties… whatever! We can program 10 separate events in this building at one time."

Funding and season kickoff

According to the university, the $90 million project was made possible through financial support from Orange County and the Tourist Development Tax fund.

"We’re not just a sleepy little school in eastern Orlando anymore," Mohajir added. "We’re awake and we’re ready to go."

Crews will continue to put the finishing touches on the facility in time for opening day. The Knights will kick off their home opener at the upgraded Bounce House on Sept. 3 against Bethune-Cookman.
