Scam alert: Ormond Beach PD warns of scam

Ormond Beach police is warning people about a property tax scam that appears to be making its rounds. A local business received a letter threatening to seize their property due to alleged unpaid taxes. However, there were 4 red flags in the letter: fake agency names, wrong jurisdiction, threatening language, and unusual ways to pay. What to do instead: Contact the IRS directly, do not pay scammers, and report is to law enforcement.

Epic Universe tickets: New Florida resident tickets, packages on sale

Universal's Epic Universe – the newest theme park to open in Florida in decades – is expected to hold its grand opening this summer.
