A natural gas leak triggered a fiery explosion at a jewelry store in Eustis on Thursday, blasting out windows, scattering debris across the sidewalk, and sending a woman to the hospital with severe burns. Fire officials said crews had been working outside the building and believed the leak had been contained when the blast occurred, rattling nearby businesses up to 200 feet away.

Chief Swanson said the cause of the fire and explosion remains under investigation and remains a mystery. Bear Hunters United, who recently lost a lawsuit when they wanted to prevent the first black bear hunt in 10 years, matched the $1,000, bringing the total to $2,000.

SeaWorld filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit in Orange County last month. In the motion, the company said Hillary Martin was hit by a snowy egret, a wild migratory bird, on the day she said she was injured by a duck on its Mako coaster. SeaWorld said it wants the lawsuit dismissed because it cannot be legally held responsible for "a wild animal’s actions."
