Pulse Memorial update: New timeline on project released
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer hopes to have the city's Pulse Memorial built by summer 2027 -- a deadline two years away. On Monday, the Orlando City Commission approved a builder for the project. A woman was struck by a vehicle while walking in a neighborhood Saturday morning in Cocoa, according to FHP. FHP released surveillance video that shows the woman being struck by the vehicle, possibly by its mirror. FHP said the driver of the vehicle drove away without checking on the woman. Officials are looking for a 2004-2008 silver or gold Honda Accord. It likely has damage to its passenger side mirror and front bumper.
