Congressman Darren Soto hosted a press conference on Wednesday afternoon at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and Kissimmee Gateway Airport representatives to announce more than $33.5 million in FY25 Airport Infrastructure Grants for MCO and Kissimmee Gateway Airport.

City of Orlando transforms hotel into apartments

Affordable housing is one of the major issues the City of Orlando is continuing to struggle with. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and other city leaders gathered Tuesday morning to celebrate the completion of Palm Gardens Orlando, a 150-unit affordable housing complex created through the transformation of the old Ambassador Hotel.

Graduation for children fighting cancer in Orlando

The Morgan Center is hosting a very special graduation for its Orlando class of preschoolers battling cancer. At this special ceremony, 14 children will graduate in their white caps and gowns. FOX 35's Amanda McKenzie travels to the ceremony to speak with some of the children and their families.

Could a pro soccer team be coming to Winter Garden?

The United Soccer League and Central Florida Pro Soccer announced last week plans to bring a men's soccer team to Winter Garden. This comes after the ownership group "Central Florida Pro Soccer" received a letter of intent from the City of Winter Garden for a 72-acre site in East Winter Garden. If the city approves it, the complex would have a 5,000-seat stadium, hotel space, baseball fields and pickleball courts. Update on the I-4 Under the Bridge project

The Interstate 4 Under the Bridge project has been an almost ten year development. There have been several iterations of it and the City of Orlando most recently put out the request for proposal and selected Whiting Turner. Truck fire on the turnpike near Clermont

All northbound lanes on Florida's turnpike near the Clermont area are currently blocked due to a tractor trailer on fire. There have been no injuries reported, and the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and tow trucks are at the scene to help with clean-up.
