Katelyne Dye, a postal worker in Melbourne, faces charges for allegedly driving drunk while making mail deliveries on April 12. The 33-year-old woman told officers she had consumed two vodkas after being invited to a party along her mailing route. She has since been released on a misdemeanor DUI charge.

Apopka man arrested in cold case, unsolved for 33 years

St. Cloud police have arrested 72-year-old Gene Stuller in connection to the 1991 murder of Julia Sue Wilbanks, solving a cold case that remained unsolved for 33 years. DNA advancements led investigators to identify Stuller as a suspect earlier this year. St. Cloud Police Chief Douglas Goerke joins FOX 35 to talk about the arrest.

Flight aborted for 350 passengers at Melbourne-Orlando Airport

More than 300 passengers were affected after a flight was aborted due to a mechanical error on Friday night at the Melbourne-Orlando International Airport. Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane veered off a taxiway after exiting the runway, and its right main landing gear collapsed. The flight was set to take off around 11:10 p.m. and was headed to Birmingham, England. No one was injured during the incident.

2 injured after car smashes into Daytona Beach business

Officials say two people were injured, with one declared a trauma alert, after a car crash on Saturday in Daytona Beach. The crash involved two cars at the intersection of Seabreeze Boulevard and North Peninsula Drive, authorities said. Reports show one of the cars involved in the crash slammed right into local business, Goldfingers Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery.

Resentencing hearing in Florida Xbox murder case

A resentencing hearing for two men convicted of killing six people over an Xbox is scheduled to start tomorrow. Troy Victorino and Jerone Hunter were convicted in 2006 and sentenced to death.
