Florida men arrested for robbing people after going to bank

Law enforcement across Central Florida say criminals are stalking people who are leaving a bank or store with money or valuables. Officials are warning people to protect themselves so they don't become victims. In almost all of the cases reported, authorities say suspects target a victim, follow the victim and then steal cash.

Orange County storage unit thefts could have hit other units

Two men are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia from a storage unit along Lake Underhill Road in Orlando. Deputies say they have video of Craig Owens and Javiel Santiago breaking into the unit at the "extra storage space." Officials believe the pair may have hit other storage units in the area.

State seeks death penalty for mother and boyfriend

Prosecutors have announced they will seek the death penalty for Kimberley Mills and her boyfriend, Andre Walker, who are accused of brutally beating and killing 10-year-old Tavares boy Xavier Williams. Xavier Williams died in March after weeks of fighting for his life at the hospital. Both Mills and Walker now face multiple upgraded charges, including first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse.

Florida man kills girlfriend in bed with 3 kids, stages murder

A Florida man has been arrested after he shot and killed his girlfriend while she slept in bed with their three children, deputies say. The man then allegedly attempted to stage the murder as a home invasion. Authorities say Saun Rainge and his accomplice, Benjamin Garmon, now both face a first-degree murder charge for the death of 30-year-old Porshe Nikita Shanee’ Streeter. None of the children — ages 10, 2 and 1 — were injured in the shooting, officials said.
