Today, the FOX 35 Care Force is recognizing Nate Camacho, who is the head lifeguard at the Winter Park Raquet Club. He was the good Samaritan who rushed to help and call 911 when an 80-year-old man drove into the retention pond in front of the club on a cold January morning.

The trial is now underway for the Orlando man accused of raping several women at bus stops in Pine Hills. Nelson Odige was arrested back in 2023. In opening statements yesterday, his lawyers asked jurors to keep an open mind as evidence is presented.

Permanent dog-friendly beach section approved in Ormond Beach

Dogs now have a permeant place to run around on Volusia County's coast. The council recently unanimously approved a plan to make a dog beach permanent. During a test session, officials said the area was popular, and about 13,000 dogs visited.

Family seeks accountability after 10-year-old’s death in alleged abuse case

Kimberly Mills and her boyfriend, Andre Walker, the two people accused of torturing 10-year-old Xavier Williams, who died last week after weeks in the hospital, were expected to be in court this morning. The couple waived their court appearances, while Xavier’s family vows to seek accountability.
