More than 120 missing or endangered kids were rescued in Florida, part of a US Marshals-led statewide effort, called "Operation Home for the Holidays." AG Uthmeier said it was one of the largest child rescue efforts in American history. The operated targeted missing or endangered kids in Orlando, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and Fort Myers.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday broke ground on a new $20 million training center in Viera that will serve as a regional hub for advanced law enforcement instruction.
