Nekia Dodd, the mother of Tyre Sampson, held a press conference where she remembered her son, who died after he fell out of the restraints on the Orlando FreeFall drop tower ride in March at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida. She said her son was a "gentle giant," played basketball and football, and dreamed of playing professionally one day. She said she wants the ride to be taken down and stricter laws in place.
