A year later: Florida woman hit by bullet on NYE
The start of 2023 ended in the hospital for Katherine Wilson after she was struck in the side of her face by a bullet, likely from someone firing a gun in the air on NYE. Her road to recovery wasn't easy, but she's grateful to be a live and to reminder others about the dangers of shooting guns to ring in the New Year. In Florida -- and in many states across the country -- it's also illegal.
