
Floridians rescued from Haiti en route to Sanford
A plane carrying Floridians from Haiti amidst the Caribbean nation's turmoil has left the area and is headed to the Orlando-Sanford International Airport in Sanford, Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced during a news conference Wednesday afternoon. The Florida governor said this will be the first of many flights to bring Floridians in harm's way in Haiti back to American soil.
