Florida mom accused of poisoning kids could face death penalty
A Florida mom accused of stabbing her husband, then forcing her two children to drink bleach, killing one of them, could be sentenced to death if convicted. The Florida State Attorney's Office announced Tuesday that it intends to seek the death penalty against Joanne Zephir. Zephir allegedly stabbed her husband and then the next day, forced her 3-year-old and 8-year-old to drink bleach. The 3-year-old died. The husband and 8-year-old survived.
