Michael Shaver's family reacts to Laurie Shaver verdict
The family of Michael Shaver spoke moments after his wife, Laurie Shaver, was found guilty of second-degree murder in his death. "This was a long time coming," said his sister, Stacy. Michael Shaver was last seen in 2015. His body was found in 2018 buried in the backyard beneath a fire pit and concrete slab. Laurie Shaver was accused of shooting Michael in the head, burying his body in the backyard, then impersonating him to family and friends using his cell phone and Facebook profile.
