Judge tosses Sarah Boone's injury photos from openings

Judge Michael Kraynick blocks Sarah Boone's lawyer, James Owens, from using enlarged photos of Sarah Boone's injuries allegedly caused by physical abuse from her boyfriend, Jorge Torres in opening statements. Owens is able to talk about the abuse in those opening statements. Boone will have to testify to claim self-defense in order for alleged previous abuse by Torres to be submitted as evidence in the Suitcase Murder Trial. Sarah Boone is the Florida woman accused of killing her boyfriend, Jorge Torres, in Feb. 2020 by locking him inside a blue suitcase during an apparent drunken game of hide-and-seek inside their Winter Park apartment.
