Remembering Civil Rights pioneers from Brevard County

Harry T. Moore and his wife, Harriette, are often regarded as the first martyrs of the Civil Rights movement. FLORIDA TODAY Editor Tim Walters joined FOX 35's Garrett Wymer on Florida Live to discuss the legacy of the Moores in Brevard County, where they led more than 116,000 Black Flordians to register to vote, and organized more than 50 branches of the NAACP in Florida before their deaths at the hand of KKK members in 1951.
