Vigil planned for Tavares boy who died from alleged abuse
The Tavares Police Department is hosting a candlelight vigil tonight for Xavier Williams, the 10-year-old boy who died after allegedly suffering severe abuse and neglect at the hands of his mother and his mother's boyfriend. The candlelight vigil will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Wooton Park in Downtown Tavares.
