Florida dangerous dog bill heads to governor's desk
Florida's dangerous dog bill is heading to Gov. Ron DeSantis' desk for approval. The legislation would require owners of dangerous dogs to secure their animals and ensure that they are microchipped, spayed or neutered. The dogs would be documented in a statewide registry, and they would have to be covered by liability insurance. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood joins FOX 35 to talk about the bill.
