Spruce Creek runner earns full ride after record season

Spruce Creek High School senior Mackenzie Roy is heading to Auburn University on a full ride after a standout track season that saw her named Florida's Gatorade Player of the Year and cross country runner of the year. Roy won an individual state title in the 1600-meter run, shaving 11 seconds off her best time and helping her team clinch its first-ever championship.
