Man accused of shooting up Astor neighborhood street

A Lake County man is facing charges after allegedly firing multiple rounds at neighboring homes in an Astor neighborhood, authorities said. Deputies arrested 48-year-old Carlo Varallo on Tuesday after witnesses reported he had aimed a handgun at a home on Ash Lane and fired several shots over three days, according to the arrest report.
