South African president responds after Trump accusations
President Donald Trump participated in a bilateral meeting with Cyril Ramaphosa, president of the Republic of South Africa, on Wednesday afternoon in the Oval Office. Trump confronted the foreign leader with video over discredited claims of a white genocide in South Africa. Trump says white farmers are "fleeing South Africa" and played footage showing people chanting "kill the Boer, kill the farmer." Responding to the footage, Ramaphosa says the chants don't represent government policy.
