Veteran credits VA for recovery from alcoholism, mental health struggles

A Central Florida veteran who returned home from war found himself fighting a different kind of battle—one with anger, depression, and alcohol. Justin Cheatham, who joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and was later deployed to Kuwait, said the mental toll of his service left him in a dark place.
