Could a pro soccer team be coming to Winter Garden?
The United Soccer League and Central Florida Pro Soccer announced last week plans to bring a men's soccer team to Winter Garden. This comes after the ownership group "Central Florida Pro Soccer" received a letter of intent from the City of Winter Garden for a 72-acre site in East Winter Garden. If the city approves it, the complex would have a 5,000-seat stadium, hotel space, baseball fields and pickleball courts. Justin Papadakis, deputy CEO and chief real estate officer with the USL, joins Good Day Orlando to talk about the project.
