Local high school students interested in future careers in STEM are heading to Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday to race their custom-built electric go-karts in a test of efficiency, thanks in part to Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). In collaboration with NASCAR, students will test their vehicles on the track and enjoy behind-the-scenes access and other educational activities at the iconic motorsport venue.
