Rays may stay in Tampa Bay: Are the Dreamers dead?
The Tampa Bay Rays confirmed owner Stu Sternberg is in exclusive and serious talks to potentially sell the team to a group of investors led by Patrick Zapulski, a Jacksonville-based home builder. Zapulski's group reportedly offered $1.7 billion for the Rays and would plan to keep the team in Tampa Bay. JP Peterson, host of the JP Peterson show joined FOX 35's Garrett Wymer to talk about the potential sale, what it would mean for the Rays to stay in the Tampa Bay region and if this sale kills the idea of the Orlando Dreamers bringing Major League Baseball down the I-4 corridor to Orlando.
