U.S. senate hearing on drug cartels
The Senate Judiciary Committee held a full committee hearing titled ?The Thin Blue Line Protecting America from the Cartels" on Tuesday morning. The hearing examined federal law enforcement efforts to combat drug trafficking, violent crime and cross-border threats posed by transnational criminal organizations, including Mexican cartels. Lawmakers discussed coordination between agencies, challenges at the southern border and strategies to dismantle cartel operations within the United States. Sen. Ashley Moddy spoke out during the meeting.
