Hegseth bashes media after feud over Iran bomb damage
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth spoke at an on-camera press briefing on Thursday morning at the Pentagon. At the event, Hegseth shared that the United States' strikes against Iran were "historically successful," saying the American forces caused "enormous damage." However, some media organizations have said the U.S. airstrikes did not destroy Iran's nuclear capability and only set it back by a few months. Hegseth said he believes the media is overly focused on finding scandals and negative stories about him and the administration, rather than acknowledging positive achievements.
