Air Force general shares updates on U.S. strikes

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force General Dan Caine held an on-camera press briefing on Thursday morning in the Pentagon. At the event, Hegseth shared that the United States' strikes against Iran were "historically successful," saying the American forces caused "enormous damage." Caine then shared additional details on the operation. On June 22, the U.S. targeted three Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. President Donald Trump said the goal was to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities and prevent it from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
