Family’ credits their rescue dog for keeping them from harm's way

A construction crane fell onto a Merritt Island home Thursday, crushing the roof but leaving the longtime residents unharmed. Amanda Crane said she had just left with their pet dog she recently rescued to take it to the veterinarian when the crane came down on the house.
