Uptick in pet scams

The Better Business Bureau is warning Central Florida residents about a growing wave of pet scams, often starting on social media with offers of puppies or exotic birds. Scammers then direct victims to fake shipping companies, demanding extra payments for supposed tariffs, insurance, or medical issues.
