Push for new hotel tax in Orange County
Orange County Comptroller Phil Diamond has announced that Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections received by Orange County for the July 2025 TDT collection month were $29,571,100. This is a 11.1% increase compared to July 2024. Rosen Hotels & Resorts CEO Frank Santos joins Good Day Orlando to share his support for increasing the hotel tax in Orange County to fund infrastructure and public services, not for property tax relief.
