Marion County teen accused of faking abduction appears in court
A Marion County teenager accused of faking his own abduction appeared before a judge on Wednesday for the very first time. This case started three weeks ago, when deputies said the teen lied to his family, claiming four men in a van shot and kidnapped him. Investigators say there was no real crime scene, alleging it was a hoax. FOX is not releasing the name of the 17-year-old boy because he is a minor.
