Eustis bridge berm collapses, crews build permanent fix

A private bridge in a Eustis neighborhood collapsed after flooding from a storm. The bridge, which is placed on top of city utilities, is continuing to fall apart, making the area unsafe for residents who were forced to leave their homes. In a Nov. 7 press conference, Eustis Fire Chief Michael Swanson said he hopes to have affected residents back in their homes by Thanksgiving.
