Meet Gene Croyle, a 100-year-old World War II veteran

Sydney Eugene "Gene" Croyle, 100, lives in Lake Mary, Florida. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy when he was 17, leaving his home in Kansas for ventures around the world. Instead of a dog tag, they gave him a "puppy" tag, he said. He trained in Morse Code and radar, riding in Patrol Bombers in Southeast Asia, working to keep his pilot and crew safe and in constant communication. He rose to the rank of Aviation Radioman Third Class, he said. FOX 35's Stephanie Rivas tells Gene's story.
