NBA Champ Dennis Hopson to coach in Lakeland
NBA champion Dennis Hopson has been hired to lead Florida Polytechnic University's NAIA men's basketball team. The former first-round draft pick is coming off a stint at NAIA Lourdes University, with nearly 100 wins in 5 seasons, 3 consecutive national tournament appearances and a 99% student-athlete graduation rate.
