Meet Sage: Local 11-Year-Old Vying for Stan Lee Super Kid Title
An 11-year-old local boy, Sage Strickland, joined FOX 35's Marlisa Goldsmith to share his dream of becoming a official comic book superhero. Sage is currently competing for Stan Lee's Super Kid title—a nationwide competition where the winner gets featured as a character in a Stan Lee Universe comic book and takes home $25,000. Sage opened up about his deep love for comic books, how he sees himself in Miles Morales (Spider-Man), and his aspirations to create his own series someday.
