Kid arrested after kicking door, part of viral TikTok challenge
Volusia Sheriff Mike Chitwood has stern warning for kids kicking homeowners' doors, apparently part of a TikTok challenge, that they may choose the wrong house -- and get shot. He told parents to talk to their kids. VSO released this montage of video clips, which show a 12-year-old boy being handcuffed and arrested after he allegedly kicked someone's door and then ran away. The incident was caught on home surveillance video. In the video, a deputy talks to the boy, who is seated inside a patrol vehicle, about the seriousness of the situation, but encouraging him that he can be better in the future.
