Reckless driving charge dropped for Ex-Titusville chief
Former Titusville Police Chief John Lau pleaded not guilty Thursday afternoon to several charges stemming from a June 2026 crash in a city vehicle, though prosecutors dropped one count of reckless driving. Lau was fired following the crash after refusing to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing. FOX 35's Esther Bower, who was inside the courtroom, joined Garrett Wymer live over Zoom to discuss the breaking news.
