Fallen Army major returns home as Polk County community pays tribute

A solemn procession honored a fallen U.S. Army Reserve major as his remains returned home to Polk County, drawing crowds of mourners who lined the streets to pay their respects. Maj. Cody Khork, who was killed while serving overseas during Operation Epic Fury in the Middle East, was escorted from Lakeland Linder International Airport to a funeral home in Winter Haven.
