Duane "Dog" Chapman’s stepson accidentally shot and killed his 13-year-old son over the weekend, TMZ first reported.

Gregory Zecca is the son of Chapman’s wife Francie. Zecca shot Chapman’s son Anthony in an accident, which reportedly occurred at an apartment in Naples, Florida on Saturday night.
Authorities told TMZ that they haven’t made any arrests and police are calling it an "isolated incident" as the investigation continues.
In a statement from Chapman and his wife obtained by TMZ, the couple said, "We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony." The family is asking for privacy.
According to TMZ, Zecca is Francie's son from her previous marriage, and Francie and Dog married in 2021 after each of their spouses passed away.
The Hollywood Reporter noted that Chapman gained fame starring in the reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," which aired for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012. The program featured Chapma’s late wife, Beth Chapman, along with other family members.
The couple later starred in the show "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt," which ran for three seasons on CMT from 2013 to 2015.
