Angie Nixon won the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Florida. She's currently a member of the Florida House of Representatives out of Jacksonville.

The race for the Democratic nomination ended up being the biggest surprise of the night as she won the votes over Democrat Alex Vindman. She was a virtually unknown candidate outside of Jacksonville, but had late endorsements and a late push to come out with a win.
