Woman killed in wrong-way crash in Volusia County, FHP says
A 27-year-old woman died in a crash involving a wrong-way driver in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened early Wednesday on Kepler Road and Mimosa Lane.

The crash happened early Wednesday on Kepler Road near DeLand.

A 27-year-old woman in a Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Kepler Road when a Ford Edge that was traveling northbound in the southbound lane collided head-on with her vehicle, according to the FHP report.
The woman died at the scene of the crash, FHP said.
The driver of the Ford, a 33-year-old man, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center with minor injuries, according to FHP.
