A Brevard County sheriff's deputy has been given an all-expense-paid cruise by a non-profit organization for his display of courage when responding to a call earlier this year that left him wounded. Deputy Paul Phillips was shot and severely wounded after attempting to diffuse a fight between two neighbors in Indialantic back in June. The suspect in that shooting was killed.
