Big changes are brewing at the Kia Center. As the Orlando Magic reset after a rollercoaster season, they’re also preparing to say goodbye to a legend. David Steele, the iconic "Voice of the Orlando Magic", is retiring. A staple of the franchise since 1989, Steele is hanging up the headset after 32 unforgettable seasons. He stopped by Good Day Orlando to look back on his legendary ride with the team.

Tuni is moving into the old Miller’s Hardware store, which closed after 80 years in business. Inside the space it is a mix of high style meets hardware. It’s the new arrangement in the midst of change. “It’s not going to be perfect, but it’s going to be different from this and it will work,” Tuni owner Paige Blackwelder said.

Orange County Animal Services has over 200 dogs in its shelter looking for a new home. The shelter took to social media to report that every kennel is occupied and everyday more and more animals are seeking care and a new home.

It’s a full-on resurgence, with people nationwide picking up the hobby for the first time, and others simply rolling right back into it. An off-duty Orange County sheriff's deputy's two children were injured Friday after his personal gun accidentally discharged while he was cleaning it, the sheriff's office said. One child suffered from a gunshot wound while the other was injured by shrapnel; both were hospitalized.

Months after hundreds of Orlando tenants were displaced after safety officials found a gaping hole under The Rialto's structure, the apartment's attorney is now arguing for a "complex case," saying the case involving multiple entities should be held in business court. 

Two Orange County deputies were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation after responding to a fire on Thursday. The fire broke out in the garage of a home in the 7800 block of Snowberry Circle, according to officials. The deputies had responded to the scene to assist firefighters.

Some of the hottest days of the entire summer are here for today, tomorrow, and Saturday. Peak heat index in central Florida so far Thursday was 115 degrees in New Smyrna Beach. Heat wave continues into Saturday before we get any relief.

Fire officials suspect a lightning strike hit a Windermere apartment complex, setting it on fire. Parts of residents' homes that weren't destroyed by fire were flooded with water during fire crew's response. Now, at least 10 families are displaced, left wondering where they'll live next. 

James Thompson, who was crossing the street on June 30, thought he could die if he didn't try to evade an "angry driver" on the road. Authorities arrested Marcus Williams for allegedly repeatedly trying to hit Thompson with his car. 

A man was arrested Monday after police say he accidentally fired a stolen gun in downtown Orlando last week. Justice Fletcher faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting into a public building and using a firearm while under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
